Everyone should own a pair of Bluetooth headphones. If you already have an iPhone or a MacBook and enjoy the seamless integration that Apple is known for, you should grab these second-gen AirPods. They have a lot of great features that make them easy to use, such as in-ear detection and the ability to summon Siri. They come with a charging case, so you can charge them on the go without needing to plug them into a wall. Their biggest downfall is that they don’t have noise-canceling, so if that’s a deal breaker you should check out our other AirPods Black Friday deals.
Apple Watch SE (1st Gen) — $149, was $279
The Apple Watch SE is Apple’s answer for folks who want an affordable, simple smartwatch that will pair easily with their iPhone. Apple took the body of the Apple Watch 5 and 6, then slimmed down some of the features to cut the price down a bit. You’ll still have great fitness-tracking that will be sent to the Health app on your iPhone, and you can still check and respond to notifications from a wide variety of apps, not just the ones created by Apple. There are several models of Apple Watches available during Apple Black Friday deals, but this is your cheapest option.
AirPods Pro (1st-Gen) — $159, was $180
The first generation of AirPods Pro have a lot of fantastic features that level them up over the standard AirPods 2. The two biggest upgrades are the noise cancellation and the silicon ear buds. Apple has now brought noise cancellation into the standard AirPods starting at the third generation, but if you want the comfort of the squishy earbuds you’ll have to buy the Pro line. They integrate perfectly with all your Apple products, and their wireless, minimalist design means they never get in the way. If you want the newest model, they are also on sale in the Apple Black Friday deals.
AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) — $200, was $249
The newest generation of AirPods have some nice upgrades over the previous generation. Overall, the noise cancellation, sounds quality, and transparency mode have all been improved. On the outside, the AirPods 2 are almost identical to the previous model. Their pressure relief vents have been moved up, and an improved sensor has been added that can more intelligently tell when the earbuds are in your ears versus in your pocket. If you need the best earbuds Apple has to offer, these are the AirPods for you.
Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) — $229, was $249
There are two big reasons to buy an Apple Watch: fitness and convenience. On the fitness side, the Apple Watch SE 2 has a simple but effective workout tracker that remembers your favorite workouts. It doesn’t have the full suite of temperature, electrocardiogram, or blood-oxygen monitoring, but it will track your heart rate and how many calories you’ve burned. From the convenience side, connecting to your iPhone is simple, and it makes texting, calling, and getting notifications super easy. Apple Watch Black Friday deals are the perfect opportunity to compete your Apple collection without breaking the bank.
10.2-inch iPad (2021) — $270, was $329
The 2021 iPad is a great starting place for a new tablet user. It’s a powerful machine with some nice features. At the time of its release, we deemed it the “best iPad you can buy today.” It has the same processor that ran the iPhone 11, which is fairly powerful and will support running multiple apps at once without noticeable slowdown. It has a front-facing 12MP, 1080p camera, so its great for FaceTime or recording TikToks. There are a lot of iPad models to choose from, so make sure to compare them in our Black Friday iPad deals breakdown.
Apple Watch Series 8 — $349, was $399
The Apple Watch Series 8 is the newest entry in Apple’s main line of watches. That makes it possibly the best smartwatch on the market. It has a powerful internal processor, so running intensive apps like GPS navigation are no problem. It has a fairly large and undeniably beautiful screen, something Apple fans are used to. It has all the fitness-tracking elements you would expect, plus a few nice bonuses like an electrocardiogram and blood-oxygen levels.
iPad Mini (2021) — $400, was $499
The 2021 iPad Mini is a great option for a portable, powerful tablet. With an 8.3-inch screen, it bridges the size gap between the iPhone and the standard iPad. It’s powerful enough to run some demanding programs, so you won’t be spending a ton on just a screen for Netflix. Of course, anything you stream will look great on the Liquid Retina display. As a bonus, Apple has finally given us a tablet with a standard USB-C port.
AirPods Max — $449, was $549
AirPods Max are Apple’s first foray into over-ear headphones. If you want total sound isolation, or just think cups over your ears are more comfortable than earbuds, and you just have to stay in the Apple family, this is quite literally your only option. Lucky for you, these headphones sound great, pair well with other Apple products, are comfortable on your head, and have a great discount during Apple Black Friday deals.
Apple Watch Ultra — $739, was $799
The Apple Watch Ultra is the adventurer’s dream smartwatch. It’s designed for extreme environments, like deep underwater, high up in the cold mountains, or mud-caked bogs. It’s designed to be incredibly durable, while staying light and comfortable on your wrist. If you’re not going to take the Apple Watch on wild adventures, it will still serve you well at home. It has a wide variety of fitness-tracking options, pairs well with the iPhone, and works as a GPS.
MacBook Air (2020) — $799, was $999
Apple Black Friday deals present a great opportunity to upgrade your necessary tech devices. If you’ve been eyeing a new MacBook, this is the week to go for it. The 2020 MacBook Air is a great entry-level MacBook for students and casual professionals. It runs on Apple’s M1 chip with 8GB of RAM, which isn’t a powerhouse, but will serve you fine for browsing the web, running multiple programs at once, and doing some light video and photo editing.
12.9-inch iPad Pro (2022) — $999, was $1,099
The newest iPad Pro is a gorgeous machine with great performance. It has the new Apple M2 chip, so you’ll notice a significant performance boost if you’re upgrading from an older iPad. The 12.9-inch version is bigger than many Chromebooks, so it has the potential to completely replace your laptop. It has two cameras on the back — a 12MP wide and a 10MP ultrawide — plus a 12MP front-facing camera. Pair it with the Apple Pencil and a folio keyboard for the full package.
14-inch MacBook Pro (2021) — $1,909, was $1,999
The 2021 MacBook Pro is a fantastic laptop. When it first released, we called it the “best MacBook Pro since 2015.” At 14 inches, it’s fairly compact, but it’s a step up from the 12-inch iPad Pro. It’s powered by the M1 Pro chip, which has eight cores, double that of the MacBook Air. Pair that with 16GB of RAM, and you have a powerful and versatile machine. It looks gorgeous too, with a Liquid Retina XDR display that has 254 pixels per square inch.
16-inch MacBook Pro (2021) — $2,199, was $2,499
If the 14-inch MacBook Pro just isn’t big enough for you, then upgrade to the 16-inch model. It runs on Apple’s M1 chip with a 10-core CPU and a 16-core GPU. It also has 16GB of RAM, so it will have no problem running multiple programs and intense processes like video rendering and photo editing. Of course it looks gorgeous, with a Liquid Retina XDR running at 3456 x 2234 resolution. Some bonuses are a 1080p webcam and a 21-hour battery life.
